Het Bouwdepot
Het Bouwdepot provides homeless young adults with cash support each month for a year to help them to focus on their future. More than 12,500 Dutch young adults are in a long-term crisis, including homelessness, debt, and a lack of family or social support. The current system does not provide adequate assistance to these young adults, particularly those aged 18 to 21, who struggle to escape their circumstances. I took these images with some of the project’s young adults to highlight the situation they are in and how Het Bouwdepot helps.
